Susanna Shore started A Strategic You after gaining more than 25 years of experience in marketing, new product development, investor relations and corporate communications.
Susanna is Principal of SGS Consulting, a communications and marketing consulting enterprise specializing in creating compelling narratives for technology start-up and nonprofit clients. Susanna is an avid storyteller, inveterate planner and the person on the team who loves to get stuff done. Her greatest specialty is developing strategic communication plans and creating the perfect content for those plans.
Susanna has more than twenty-five years of experience in marketing and communications, primarily from Colgate-Palmolive in New York City. She spent fourteen years as Director, Corporate Communications where she and her team drove employee engagement and global internal communications for more than 30,000 employees in 86 countries. She partnered with senior executives to create and deliver strategic campaigns for key company priorities across all communication platforms. An avid storyteller, Susanna produced 20+ presentations for ten major communication events each year including town halls, executive meetings and CEO webcasts. She was a sought-after editor and presentation coach, helping Colgate people around the world communicate effectively in all vehicles.
Susanna joined Colgate in the Global Marketing Training Program and progressed through in a series of marketing roles of increasing responsibility in the U.S. in brand management and new product development. She led new product development for the Oral Care category, creating a strong pipeline of innovation and launching three new products in two years. She also led Colgate toothpaste, the company’s flagship franchise, maintaining market share leadership and growing operating profit 15%.
Susanna graduated from Harvard College with a concentration in Government and History, and she holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
